Hi, I’m Ludwina Dautovic, the founder of The Red Tent Woman. I am a strong believer in networking and in fact I have built my entire business and brand around networking. It’s a cost effective way of connecting with other business owners and to build relationships that will support your business growth.
When I first started our networking events it was out of necessity. You see, most of the networking events I was attending at the time felt like hard work. I’d turn up to the event, tick off my name, collect my badge and off I went. Thankfully I’ve never found mingling in a crowd intimidating, but I met a lot of women who did. I’d end up on a round table with a bunch of people I didn’t know and no organised introductions.

Creating business leads was more about random people handing out business cards as though you were going to immediately buy their products or services. If I did have any conversations with people it was usually a sales pitch. And I always went home with a hand full of business cards but no real connections.
The lights were bright, the food was dull and the atmosphere cold. I realised in that moment that I wanted to create an event where people would feel welcome, be immediately connected with others, build an atmosphere of warmth and fun whilst having the sophistication and education that a business event required. So, instead of complaining about what I didn’t like, I realised there was an opportunity to create something new and 5 years ago The Red Tent Networking Events were born.

What's unique about The Red Tent Business Networking Events?
There are 3 key things:
Firstly, wherever we host our events, whether they our homebased events or in a restaurant, it's our main goal to make you feel welcome, supported and connected first! That is the most important thing. You see, women do business with people they like, so if you create the opportunity to connect, then the business will follow.
Secondly, you will always leave an event having learned something new about business. We will either have a guest speaker, an interactive workshop or a mastermind. Either way, you will either have a business problem solved or learn something new.
Thirdly, we encourage you to make at least two to three good quality connections who you can follow up through the week. We'll teach you how to create Joint Venture partnerships and to really utilise your networking time. You see, we know what it takes to make your business make money and let's be honest, if you're not making money then you have a hobby, not a business. At our events we'll help you learn what you need to succeed in business.
