Business networking events that will leave you feeling connected & inspired
The Red Tent business networking events are designed with real women in mind. So they involve real value, real connections and real experiences.
At the Red Tent business networking events you will not only create strategic alliances and joint venture partnerships with other like minded small and home based business women, you will also experience a sense of connection with women who know and understand your business challenges.
At our events it's our priority to make you feel comfortable, to help you see your potential, to teach you new business skills and we have you leave knowing it was worthwhile to leave your family for the evening to attend the event.

Networking Events for Women 2010
Things are changing.... It's time for something new. I have a new vision for The Red Tent Woman. But before I share this new vision with you, I'd like to share what I learned in 2009.
I spent a lot of time last year speaking, running events and building my business. Unfortunately, I lost track. I had lost track of what was really important to me and to the women in my community. I began to look at numbers as being important instead of people. I apologise for that and I intend of getting back to my authentic self.
I also realised that there is a lot of hype and 'B.S.' out there in the business world at the moment and I felt like I got drawn into it. As a result I felt overwhelmed, inundated with communication and at a loss as to where to network myself.
I've also realised that I had created a business model that focused on me being the leader. I don't want that anymore. I want women, like you, to become the leaders in this awesome community we have created. I want to now give the opportunity to train and support women to assist me in creating a business community that will be like no other.
Over the holidays I have had a good amount of time to reflect on where I want to be and what I what to truly create within The Red Tent Woman community and this is it:
Real Women, Real Business, Real Connection.
This will be my mantra for this year and with that I would like to introduce:
Micro Networking Groups for:
Authentic Women who want Genuine Connections
We will now be offering smaller networking groups that will be hosted and run by women who are a part of our Business Success Club community. These women will offer events that are suited to their personality and style. Therefore offering a variety of events giving you the option to choose what will best suit your style and personality.
These events will come in the form of:
How do I sign up for the events?
To sign up for the events you will need to be a member of The Business Success Club. Once you are a member you will be able to view all the events on this page that are available for you to attend.
Why do I need to be a member of the Business Success Club to attend these events?
For the following reasons...
To build a community there needs to be commitment: We see our new style of events as a form of commitment to what The Red Tent Woman stands for and the women you will create relationships with through the events.
A Bustainable business model: We see this as a way to bring even more value to you not only through our events, but also through the expert information and business knowledge you will gain from the information in the club.
More efficient use of resources: It also allows us to financially sustain ourselves using this model as it requires less resources. It also works on the principle of multiplication for business growth as opposed to a one person guru model. It's our goal to raise up leaders within the community who are committed to our values and business philosophy.
Are there any additional costs?
There may be a small cost involved to cover the cost of materials, food etc, for each event, but there will be no profit margin charged on any of the events.
I will also be offering coaching programs and special one off seminars from time to time. These will be at an additional cost, however, there will be a discount for members.
Are the events just social or will I learn business skills as well?
The events will be a mix of social, educational and inspirational. They will be about providing a well rounded support network so that you not only learn the business skills you need but you create a real support network to walk with you through your journey.
Who will run these events?
They are women like you and me. They are not 'big business gurus' who have no understanding of the challenges or struggles you face. They are at the coalface of business themselves and they will be there to support you. There are a number of women who have already subscribed to becoming leaders of these micro groups and they will be advertised and announced shortly.
How do I become a group leader?
We welcome all members of the BSC to apply to become a group leader. There is an application process but the criteria is small.
What we are looking for:
1) Women who have their own business
2) Women who are passionate about business, learning and inspiring
3) Women who are willing to open their homes, hearts and lives to other women
4) Women of all ages, cultures, religion, marital status, gay or straight, mothers or not etc
5) Women who naturally love to network
6) Women who want to develop their leadership skills and become a key component in TRTW
7) Women who are willing to listen and learn (this is very important. No 'yeh but' applicants please:)
What you don't need to be:
1) A marketing guru
2) A business wizz
3) A university graduate
4) An accomplished business woman
5) A public speaker or trainer
6) An events co-ordinator
7) Famous!
However, if you are any of these that's fine too. The point I'm making here, is that we are looking for everyday women who have a passion and a heart for serving and supporting others as well as have the desire to learn new leadership skills for themselves.
Are there certain cities that you are looking to run groups?
There is no limit as to where these groups will be run. It is completely up to the community of the BSC members to decide. If you want to start an event in Timbucktoo you can. If you want to start one in France you can. We already have a woman starting the events in Canada and there is talk of New Zealand. It's up to you.
What's next?
The first step is to become a member of The Red Tent Business Success Club (BSC). It is currently only $47 per month and will remain at this price, whilst we are building up the events. Once the number of events increases, the membership will also increase, however, any member that signs up now, will remain at the low price of only $47 per month ongoing.
