‘Blogging’ - The Online Way to get your Point Across

I have just discovered the world of ‘blogging’ which basically means ‘Web log’. A blog is an online journal or diary that is quickly becoming the latest web fad. Theoretically, a blog is a series of messages that are posted on your web log.

They can be personal experiences that are updated often, a way to stay in touch with family and friends, a forum for information about your business or a way to promote your products. Either way, they are definitely the way of the web future as a form of connection with the web world.

Thanks to the ease of blogging and website systems such as customer management systems, you can set up a online blog in an instant.

I have created quite a few blogs to generate traffic and interest to my website. The more people post their comments, the more activity is directed there. This increases my Google ranking and the amount of unique visitors I get. This has huge benefits if you are considering creating an income stream through your website.

It is also a good idea to have a variety of authors for your online blogs. Websites with a customer management system will allow you to issue a user name and password to any of your clients who would like to post on your blog. Think about the win-win here. They get to blog on a great site and I get access to their network. It’s fabulous!

These are just a few ideas to get you started. If you don’t already have an online blog or your website system doesn’t offer one, you can set up your own blog using free blogging sites such as www.wordpress.com or www.blogger.com.

They are both free and use a customer management system so you can add content and make changes whenever you like. If you website has a ‘c panel’ (ask your web people) you can actually add the blog to your site.
